I just figured out it added a "Chill-Tab" search engine setting and deleted that.

I downloaded a file that ended up being fake and it installed search tabs on all my browsers - Chrome, Firefox, Safari.
It might just be a pop-up generator but I'm not sure if it's more serious. I just deleted the "Chill-Tab" from search engine options on all browsers and deleted the caches.

I don't have to worry about key loggers or anything, do I?
- Dont think so, seems like you got some Trojan horse or malware from a one of "those type" of sites. I've had great luck with the free version for 'friends'.ArmandoEstrada
- I stupidly installed the .dmg program for the software I thought I downloaded. And that's what happened.freedom
