Hey everyone,
Hope I could get your 2 cents on something. I've previously sent out job applications as html mails, but due to spam filters I'm moving away from this.
I've already got my application as PDF version (about 1.8 mb) but I could also just upload the html mail to my site and link to it in a regular old mail.
So what would you rather receive, a attached PDF or a link to a web page?
Cheers

Resume (text only) as a PDF. Work on a simple fast website. That's it.
- use to do that, but in my experience something more to stand out from the 200-400 other applications is a good thing.Nutter
- for us, what stands out is a perfectly legible, text only resume with great typesettingmonospaced

Since I posted I've sent a few with html link, the positive thing with that approach that I didn't think about, is I can see on my statistics page if the page have been shown by other people.
That way I at the very least know if they have received the application.

I don't get your fixation with HTML mail job applications - from the off it's sounded like a terrible, terrible idea.
Plaintext email with a link to an external website and if you want, with a PDF attachment. Or, a link to one.
