In your own experience, do you find that people in creative fields are more likely to find value in paying for the work/effort/skill of their peers or less likely than the general public? I.E. are creatives more or less prone to bargain shop for good creative work?

We bargain-shop because we're paid fucking shite salaries.
Being a creative isn't particularly lucrative a career.

- I think designer, illustrator, art director or writer are ideal if you are, respectively, a designer, an illustrator, an art director or a writer.MrT

I pay up for craftsmanship and know the old adage 'you get what you pay for'.
Like, I don't pay some big lawn service $50 to mow my lawn because I know they have a bunch of other lawns to mow and will probably rush the shit out of their work. I do pay the kid down the block $25 who I know will take a bit longer, but do his best. However, I'll pay a bit more for certain things (like furniture) as I know they're better made and last longer, but I'll usually but them once on sale.
