And the FDA will come up with some bullshit excuse as to why they can't bring to the U.S. "It didn't live up to the hype"... "It didn't perform as expected"... "We couldn't replicate the results"...
...all to keep big pharma making profits.

Can you tell me about the CimaVax lung cancer vaccine?
- < Much better information, it might possibly give u a little extra time after chemotherapy. 15 months compared to 7.4********

Funny it's not in large public news. This is a huge thing.

Pissst....Do not tell the American Pharma Corporations about this!
- Bennn1
Yep, big pharma corps are making billions and billions with cancer related drugs. A magical cancer cure would be a huge profit loss for them. They are ultra powerful and fight like no one, they have the Gov in their pocket.

"There’s good reason to believe that this vaccine may be effective in both treating and preventing several types of cancer, including not only lung but breast, colorectal, head-and-neck, prostate and ovarian cancers, so the potential positive impact of this approach could be enormous."
So wait...a tiny communist country was able to develop this but international drug companies couldn't with the billions they have to spend on research?
- Bennn0
lung, breast, colorectal and prostate are the biggest killers. Just imagine a cure for that!
Bye bye population control
Bye bye billions of profit$

This is verging on Gibson territory where small countries, rather than global concerns, research and manufacture technology - I think he used Costa Rica in one of his novels, where they are set up as a worldwide data haven.
Incredibly fascinating.

A cheap lung cancer vaccine? Sell it to the tobacco companies!
- maquito0
Sheeple... seriously? Considering, just considering, the article is from May 2015, by now Cancer should be 100% cured.
There is no way to develop a cheap cure for a disease that requires 60 years of studies and science development just to elaborate one molecule, that could perfectly not work, or maybe cure the disease but kill you with another.
In fact there are companies very close to "curing" cancer, like Astellas, Amgen, and many others. Pretty small companies actually, although we call them "Big Pharma".

So we can all start eating shit and smoke like hell?

BTW, most onco vaccines and Phase 2 molecules improve treatment and overall survival, not "cure".
