Thought I'd see if anyone here wants a new camera before it hits eBay. I'd keep it for myself, but I'd rather get as much as I can for it and put the cash towards a new Mac (which I desperately need).
Got a brand new unopened FujiFilm X-T10 with 18-55mm lens. Sells for up to $1099 online. Mirrorless. Retro looking with silver top. Really small. Shoots HD 1080p at 60fps.
OR
I keep the Fuji and unload my Canon T2i with 18-55mm, EF 50mm f/1.8 II, EF 70-200mm f/4 and a Speedlight 430EX II.
Any thoughts on FujiFilm vs. Canon? I did put a lot of money into the T2i, but I don't use it all that much anymore. Probably because it's not so easy to travel with. The FujiFilm is really compact and I feel like I'd use it way more when traveling. But as long as I have a camera to hold on to I'll be ok.
Anyway, if you're interested in either of these shoot me an email. And if you think I'm crazy for unloading one of these vs. the other, let me know.

I'd keep the Fuji, because for me portability is everything. If you don't have it, you don't use it. That Canon is a clunker.

@garbage I think I agree with you. Really loved the Canon but I hardly use it anymore. And honestly it hasn't been used all that much to begin with so it's still in great shape. Hopefully I can make some decent cash selling that one.

I'm a designer not a salesman!
The Canon is a sweet camera and it's only been used a handful of times. Always indoors. It's a clunker in the fact that taking it anywhere ain't easy unless you're used to carrying a camera bag and lenses. I'm not...I prefer to carry a smaller camera.
If you're cool carrying around a bag or a larger camera, then it's great. And if you'll mainly use it indoors then it's fantastic, especially with the lenses and speed light I added to it. But if you just want something to carry around without the bulk, it's probably not a good buy.
Depends on the person I guess. But either way it's a sweet camera in great shape with a bunch of add-ons.
Is that a better sell?
- Oh, and I meant I agree that portability is everything - not that the camera is a clunker!CincodeMayo
- I meant clunker as in awkward. Not a bad camera.garbage
- It's not awkward to use at all...actually super easy. It's just on the big size for carrying it around your neck. But if you don't mind holding it, it's great.CincodeMayo
- That's what I mean, the general clunkiness. If it's a hassle to carry around, it doesn't fit my purposes.garbage

- those are highly sexy. you have one?garbage
- Not yet!nb
- I was very close to buying one, but then I found a guy selling a Mamiya RZ67 Pro II in perfect condition for cheap. Couldn't pass it up.nb
- I'm sure I'll get a 690 eventually, though. Some day.nb
- Can't blame ya for that one. I'm about to sell off most of my cameras and simplify things. Probably just keep two 35mm, and the rest is gone.garbage

Decided to keep the Fuji and unload my Canon T2i.
This T2i was used only a handful of times. I bought most of this equipment for one shoot so everything is lightly used and in perfect condition. No scratches at all.
Everything looks new and hardly used. Comes with Canon T2i body, 18-55mm lens, 55-250mm lens, 50mm 1.8 EF lens, Speedlight 430EX II, a Canon brand bag that hold everything, a Shoot timer remote control, an extra Canon battery pack LP-E8, and a Case Logic camera/lens protection sleeve bag. See lens photos for exact specs.
Asking $750 or best offer. Looking to sell this locally if possible but would be happy to mail this to a QBNer.

- lol quit worrying about having a man purse. i bet you other people don't care.pango
- They'll all laugh at me... ;(sofakingback
- I have the X-T1 also, but use a Domke wrap and carry it my normal day-to-day bag. Done so for over a year with no mishaps or damage.face_melter

How do you like that one sofakingback? The one I'll be using once I sell this Canon is the FujiFilm X-T10. I'm more familiar with the Canon but really like what I've been reading about the X-T10. Good size too.
- sofakingback0
Its the best camera I've owned. Having everything exposed encourages me to mess around with the manual setting more. Pretty much all the stuff you need can be clicked on easily from the external controls.
The software is really good as well.
I think its a very easy to pick up and start using camera. weight is good, size is good. if you want smaller theres the X100T... although its not that much smaller.
You can connect to your phone via an app and upload pix for quick posting. They have this awesome portable printer that prints out instax film (like polaroid)

The lenses are amazing, I have the Fuji 23mm 1.4 and a Rokinon 12mm 2.0 (great lens)
Overall I love it. You're gonna dig your camera

Good to hear sofakingback. That Instax thing sounds pretty cool. Looking forward to playing with it.

Did you get the new Fuji at Adobe MAX?
- Yeah...thinking I'll keep that and sell off my Canon and lenses and put the money towards a new MacBook Pro.CincodeMayo
- Yeah, two of my coworkers got them and are also in the same situation.monospaced
- Super nice of them to give it to us, but they must've known a ton of people in the audience would've already had cameras. An iPad Pro would've made more sense.CincodeMayo
- Last year they gave out Surface Pros, everyone sold them immediately. The year before they gave a year subscription to Adobe CC since it was the new thing.monospaced
- I was hoping for a tablet. They kept demoing iPad Pros on stage so they got everyone's hopes up. The camera is nice but wasn't needed for most.CincodeMayo

mirrorless is the way to go
- Those are great! Straight from the camera or touched up?CincodeMayo
- Most with minor adjustments in LR, some with stylistic edits, very few "enhancing" edits. thanks!fourth
- shit, i was looking at maybe getting the lx5 for a teensy pocket camera. you might be changing my mind.garbage
