Anyone ever got involved in a kickstarter?
• Did you find the registration process hard?
• Is the production level of the video really important?
• Did you use some influencer or network to push your product?
• What advice can you give someone wanting to jump in,Thanks

Yep.
Registration is easy.
The video is said to be important. it look more serious.
Right after launching your Kickstarter, you'll receive LOTS of email of people/cie offering services of pushing your campaign over social media and shit. Lots of them are pure crap.
If you want your campaign to succeed, you need A LOT of pushing via social networks. You need to be everywhere. The more friends you have the best.

I went to a really interesting talk a while back by the owner of RunRev / LiveCode. They got half a million when their target was 350,000. At the time (maybe to this day) they are the highest grossing UK kickstarter.
The talk was all about the kickstarter process and organising your campaign timeline. A lot of their funding came right at the last minute and they smashed their total.
Do a search online I think the CEO talks about it a lot so there's maybe a audio or video somewhere online.

it's like a website. No one will stumble on it by chance, you need to lead people on it. Same thing apply for a Kickstarter campaign.
Its really hard to get noticed
