I made a plugin!
https://github.com/akiersky/colo…It creates little swatches that compare a selected color to white and black with color contrast ratios. Pretty simple, but useful when you need it.
Enjoy!

Hey trusted comrades,
Question, what do you all use for very complex (we're talkin' large) flows, keeping all screens in ONE application but linking to multiple scrns.
...I'm talking in the 1K screens here - I know... ridiculous.
Any management apps you use to house this stuff? Or any good ones out there that you know of.
FYI most scrns built in sketchapp :)
Your friend,
notype- Convert the art-board/screens to symbols and insert those into flows somewhere else in the document - use Abstract to manage all of thisSlashPeckham
- Seems best implemented by writing up a doc, "coding guidelines" or something, that dictate folder and file naming conventions etcSquiddy
- cuz when automated, it'll be brittle and the newbie will break it or your boss who barely understands it will be doing a stand up when nothing loadsSquiddy
- good points Squiddy, and thank you SlashPeckhamnotype
- I've been using https://overflow.io/… for presenting large flows. You can sync sketch artboards into their platform. Have a look.brandonp

I’ve been using Sketch as my main design tool since January, and I feel like it has really been a great decision. I’m getting familiar with its shortcuts, trying to focus on the symbols library, enjoying its features, watching dozens of tutorials, and everything seems quite good so far!
It’s been almost 10 years since I started using illustrator, and it feels good to realize I’m still able to adapt to this sort of things, like THE MAIN design tool I use.
I’ve also been testing Figma and caught up with all the new features they presented last week, but I have strong feelings towards Sketch.
- starting to learn it too. any good tutorials you recommend?futurefood

I've been using it full time for about a month now and while there are many plus points and it's definitely the way forward, it's really rather infuriating at times. It's still buggy and missing some useful or very obvious features. It's only improving though and is great overall .
Invision easiness, symbols and versioning are all big plusses.
- No not big pussiesset
- Been using it for 3 years. Watched it grow... not really sure why I'm paying adobe $33 a month still. Seems like chump change to put together PDFs every bluebklyndroobeki
- Now invision is a different story. Aren't they down this weekend >_<bklyndroobeki

Anyone using this or taking any good tutorials?

Oh - also cool about the Craft plugin: you can create your prototype inside Sketch, and just push it to Invision. All the connectors between artboards can be done in Sketch, and it's honestly much easier than building the prototype inside Invision.
- Yep, if you set it up in Craft, it's easy. I wish stuff was just built in instead of having to download a bunch of plugins for some basic shit.bklyndroobeki

Sketch is awesome and adobe have a battle on their hands. The only thing that's holding sketch back is it's mac native only. Where I work now use PCs so no sketch here now unfortunately, which is sad as adobe has nothing that can currently match it.

Anyone tried UXPin?

For anyone that has to create a demo video from a sketch file, using After Effects - I've found this workflow to be best:
Reduce sketch file down to the page you want to animate (if it's a big doc)
Load into this website:
https://www.photopea.comexport as psd.
open in photoshop and tidy up layers if required, otherwise open straight into AE. Convert text layers to editble text. Profit.

I really like using it - it's simply, definitely faster than I am in PS for putting together concepts and wireframes.
That said, I'd love to see future versions incorporate more features that third-party tools are used for. I'm starting to have a love/hate relationship with Invision and the Craft plugin, because the frequency with which they push updates (multiple times a week) makes me feel like they are not QA'ing updates well before they push them. I've got team members who have Sketch completely lock up if they update both Sketch and the Craft plugin. It's weird.
If you're not using Invision's Craft plugin, GET IT.
https://www.invisionapp.com/craf…Especially if you're working with a team, it offers a lot. I'm trying to work on a new rapid prototyping process at our company, and the Craft plugin will be a big part of that.
I could go on and on, but one thing i like about it is the ability to use a shared Library of symbols, colors, and font styles. I have a master Sketch file that contains original symbols, patterns, etc. and it serves as the master copy for the Library. If symbols change, they change in that file then push out to the Library, which automatically updates for anyone using the same Library.
It's a great feature considering Sketch itself offers nothing like it, and certainly no collaborative tools like Axure offers.

I'm using Sketch and building a prototype using the Craft plugin for an Android phone.
I can navigate the pages but some are longer pages (scrolling) than others. But when I land in the longer pages it does not want to scroll, it stays locked in position.
Has anyone encountered this issue? Or am I doing something wrong??
