I am really coming up short trying to find great examples of identity design and branding for counseling and therapy practices. All of my ideas so far seem really contrived: the brain, puzzle pieces, steps/stairs.
I would really appreciate any references you guys may have that could help open up some better pathways to explore.
Thanks!

A puzzle piece-shaped brain falling down a flight of stairs.

Already skimmed those sites. Seems every name and identity in this space is total shit.
- tied google also as if you are looking for one. will also let you in on competition for the groupyurimon

I'd guess that the classier, higher-end identities in this field probably don't use an image at all - for the reasons you've pointed out. Maybe just go with a wordmark?

- Not bad. The brain only works because of the hidden "P". My issue is it's not one person.********
- It's for a group of therapists, so a little harder there.********
- could be nice but drawn so badly, really off balance********

I would avoid any and all reference to brain or mind. That is demeaning and narrow minded. It's about relationships.
