"My 13-yr-old nephew has already done most of the work for my e-commerce intranet portal. He built it in Canva, soooo... should only take you like an hour or two to get it working properly for us."

Looks like it's getting much more popular now...

Do any of you have experience with this thing?
I have a client struggling to export a Vector, or at least high resolution (300dpi) version of a thing they've made and even now they've paid for the 'Pro' version (after my suggestion, oops), it's still just spitting out shit screen res stuff... any thoughts?
Thanks in advance!
x- Sackit, got it. Sorry - I have to post stupid questions like this sometimes, so that things start working for no discernible reason. xNairn

What an utter fucking trash pile of an app... GARBAGE... the shit you have to wade through to make the simplest of elements.
Had a client ask if I'd try making something in Canva for them as they have an internal DICKWAD who likes the browser-based load of shit...
... tonight I learned — always say NO.
Do you hear me, QBN?? The answer is ALWAYS 'NO'.
You pound the fucking table and slap them in the face if need-be as you scream the word 'NOOooooOOOoo!' as loud as you fucking can being sure to draw blood from at least one ear lobe... if not both.
No.

- I tried it once, to make a CV by using a template. I was overwhelmed with the amount of trash I had to go through and the complexity. Ended up using Illustratoroey_oey
- LMAO!oey_oey
- You know you can import pdfs from illustrator? You can earn $$ if you work smarter and make it look better your way.stewart
- You're using it wrong.palimpsest
- So funny because non designers talk about canva like it’s gods gift of diy design for all.doublespaced
- It do what it do. It's great for making FB invitations for my mom. Better than firing up Illustrator. Know your tools.palimpsest
- For *all* is key here. Better making an emailer in Canva than in Word.palimpsest
- It’s marketing girls wet dream. Now she can make her own shitty banners and not ask the graphics guy anymore.doublespaced
- Every tool has its place. Canva is not nearly as efficient as illustrator or the like—it’s the wrong tool if there is a BETTER tool. I’m stuck with a dull knifePonyBoy
- The problem is when the graphics guy uses Canva.palimpsest
- My 7 y/o uses crayons, I'm not hating on him or his crayons.palimpsest
- It's better than using ketchup!palimpsest
- NO!!!Ramanisky2
- So true.kalkal
- I tried to use it once for volunteer work because the committee wanted a free application. They all quit and I went back to InDesign.cotton
