Bump for my reply in the side notes to my previous comment.

my bike has a Brooks saddle and matching leather tape, both in Maroon (the frame is a really dark green, like British Racing green but a bit darker).

Etsy has some interesting grips at reasonable prices (leather, cork, wood etc).

I saw that cork tape. Close to buying it, but my bike has dark brown accents. Would be great to find tape and a saddle that matches. Hmm....

Cinelli Cork tape here.

Funny I just had my bike tuned and the shop wrapped the bars with the Lizard Skins tape Ron mentioned. It's pretty nice and looks killer, but IMO not quite as cushy as the old standard Cinelli cork tape I had on there before (http://www.competitivecyclist.c... Maybe I just wrap my bars with a lot of overlap, but I think I like the feeling of the cork tape better.
As 4 cyclists, get 4 different opinions. :)

I 100% am behind Lizard Skins. Most comfy/softest/best tape i've used.
2.5mm is what i use. nice and thick and works great when i sweat.

You could just double tape your bars if you want them to be cushier.
This has gel and comes in a light brownish color

Looking for really comfortable and padded bike handlebar tape. Not really concerned about sweat.
Can't decide between many types. Ideally, I want something in dark brown or forest green, but these are really hard to find unless it's leather tape.
Thanks :)
