    Nav across the top for me. Responsive does matter. Clients like editing with tablets and their smartphones... especially if they have some of the bigger ≈5" phone screens.

    Basically the case I see a lot, is having to do emergency changes that may just be small, so they want to do it when they are out at lunch, or out on the weekend or even on holiday.

    Craft CMS has a decent, responsive back-end.

    Just wanted to gauge some opinion...when you're using or developing a CMS, what layout do you prefer?

    Something like Wordpress, Shopify or Squarespace with nav on the left or other systems like Magento with nav across the top and dropdown menus?

    And does responsive matter in a CMS?
