The quickest way would be Expose / Mission Control to quick glance at the windows and choose the right one.
But what akiersky shared is perfect. just tried in Lion and it works.
(it will only work on new windows, so you need to close and reopen your open windows to see the change)
Ahhh, would be useful if I had all Finder windows active (and if I used icon view, but use column view) and on display at once but was looking for more of a distinction in the Finder icon context menu in the navbar. This way I can just right click the Finder icon and determine which window I want up in front and active. Thanks tho!
Gaaaah! That would be perfeeect, except only works in Leopard :(
works for me in mavericks, I only see the frontmost tab of each window though.
