Saw it last night. I love it.
He is still my favorite monster.
the skydiving scene is cool, but what happened after? why they sky dived? don't remember the landing scene... and as I remember it had no impact whasoever on Gz
I liked the movie, but enjoy this one better.
My favorite part was the scene where the soldiers skydived through the clouds.
great monster. stupid plot. could have cut 40 mins out of the beginning of the movie.
they really stepped on his roar in this movie. that was sad. the MUTOs [cringe] were just as loud and our man was just another layer to the bombast. that said, favorite part of the movie was an eerie quiet stylistic moment of Gz with two lone piano keys placed far apart. Somebody deserves an award for that.
Some great setpieces and visuals/sound, but overstretched on time (like most blockbusters currently). I think any criticism toward script or plot is forgetting the high concept; sea-rex chins nuclear moth.
Yes, yes, I know the original was a metaphorical warning about nuclear horror and the Fukushima disaster is more than nodded toward in the film. But if it's entertaining B-movie fun that you want, go see.
Why kill off Cranston's rols? He was the only interesting character. Poor choice of lead in Kickass. The monsters were pretty cool, and well done. Why can't we just get a monster movie that doesn't try too hard with emotional connections to the characters?
I was dosing in and out in the middle and near the end of the movie.
So I don't know how the Kickass guy got off the train.
And quite honestly, I don't even remember anything really after the Bryan Cranston parts.
saw it yesterday on imax too, didn't like it.... but amazing effects thooo
finally saw it.. loved it so much!! the mutos were great!! godzilla looked amazing!! loved the texture of godzilla especially his face!!
kickass kid sucked, thankfully he and his wife didnt have much chemistry considering they will be brother and sister in the avengers movie..
the easter eggs were great too!! lots of em!! my fav scene was a throw back to Godzilla Destroy All Monsters on the Gamecube, when the kid was watching tv, i laughed so hard.
when everyone was saying Godzilla like it was an everyday word made me laugh too.
i liked it a lot, even though all the acting from KICKASS sucked, i really enjoy it!! wish walter white had a larger role though.
Just got back from an IMAX 3-D show.
LOVED it. Can't wait for more.
Watched it after 4 pints... the first hour or so killed my buzz.. But the last half hour saved the night.
It was terrible, just terrible. The bit where the news puts the Saviour caption up caused the whole audience to groan.
Only just passible to watch if you're; deathly hungover, led on the coach and the remote is the other side of the room.
