- In my experience, watched NY v some random team at Giants Stadium a while back, the biggest cheer from the idiotic crowd was for a throw in.josimar

Can you make it to Edinburgh for 7pm on a Monday night? If so you can play with us. Can't pay for flight/expenses but don't let that put you off.

Personal opinion, but, I think indoor will be tough if you're just getting back into it - because the ball is never out of play. It's more manic and the hard floors can be tough on your knees.
If you play outside there are natural breaks in play as you wait for the ball to be retrieved from beyond whichever fence it's been blootered.

yeah, like someone already mentioned try indoor/fives.
smaller field. lots of action and fun. it's intense though, like fax_benson said. but it would be easy to go to a club and try to join one of their "midnight leagues"- i played one season with a team of misfit non-athletes. we didn't win one game but it was a lot of fun.sine

Somehow I am playing goal in a league game tonight. I am so screwed. Haven't been in the box since high school.
