Clients have money. That's BS. They can find more for a good idea.
- If they don't have it upfront, they don't expect a good idea.monospaced
- Certainly they can find like $200 for this guy.omahadesigns
- Certainly he wouldn't do the work for only $200monospaced

His name and career is forever tarnished thanks to Google because of a semi-rude response and greedy business practice by a huge agency (maybe not his fault).
- maybe not his fault?? I completely disagreedbloc

"And if you think about it the advertising industry with its interns already has a slave type service. A fucked up social conditioning that one must pay their dues."
Was chatting to some creative who was quite high up at one of the most successful agencies in the country. She was laughing about how interns there mostly served coffee to meeting rooms for 1-2 years before they do anything and everyone had to intern (unless you were being hired into management).
I pointed out that in the age of startups where you're hired for talent because they want to use you right now isn't it a bit fucking stupid to hire someone for their abilities then not put them to use for at least a year.
Her response was "WELL I HAD TO DO IT SO THEY SHOULD TOO"
what a stupid cunt
- What's her name? Just so I know which agencies I need to avoid working for.Continuity
- Irony right there...They award themselves for being 'creative' read innovative and they're based on a fifty year old model...babaganush

But I'm all for Grey getting hurt. What do they actually do at their NYC offices if all their work is TV commercials?:

"If we had money for this, we'd be going after real artists..."
