Hey guys,
Quick question.
Does anyone know of any software that you can install, put a bunch of video clips into, and uses the microphone of the laptop to effect the visuals?
E.g. clips that flash to the beat of the music etc?
Much appreciated.

Amazing, thanks islandbridge.
I've installed vidvox, sorry to be amateur, but can you point me in the direction of the audio analysis plugin within the program?

When it pops open goto the top right corner of the Workspace inspector and select Plugins. Click the "+ in the lower left corner of the plugins fan and add Audio Analysis from the dropdown.
Click the small recycle icon in the top left corner of the AA plugin to activate it.
Now you can patch up the 3 audio filter parameters up to any slider by right-clicking a slider and choose...
Use Data Source > Audio Analysis > Filter 1.
It could be a "layer opacity" or "exposure effect" slider.
You can also adjust the frequency area span of each filter by clicking each bar and dragging up, down, left, right. Good for isoating elements like hi-hat etc.
