I like how all his music is free from his site.

I like his sets on soundcloud (The hot sh*t episode) but it seems that all those 100 sets are containing the same 10 songs :-(

The downtempo stuff he does is pretty good, although some of it has a certain cheese factor to it. The dubstep, like all other brostep, is shit.
I saw him a few years ago at this hippy festival a girl I was dating dragged me to. He opened up with some really nice downtempo jams and I'm thinking, "Thank fuck, I can't take another 20 minute guitar solo". Then, bam! Right into a bunch of shit dubstep.
His light show was really sweet with all the 3d projection mapping. But, anyone standing up there doing a "live" show standing behind a laptop and a midi controller is so fucking boring. Especially in a concert like environment.

I adore his older chill stuff, seems like a solid dude but I personally hate the jerky dubstep tracks so I skip those

this might be... how do i put this... when it comes to music and music making, the coolest f*cking thing i've seen in many years.
all the little videos of big production heads acting like wannabe geniuses and cranking out garbage. then there's this guy, on a mission, loves music for music's sake. loves hip hop, real hip hop. it just puts them all to shame. ok not all, but many.
who in god's green earth creates 28 lps of fresh breaks from a blitz of live sessions, to tape, then straight to vinyl to create his sample library? 28!
amazing. and inspiring. love this.
- I felt exactly the same way. He's a lucky guy to get to do this!stoplying
