seems like I should be excited about this....but I'm not....at all.
Last time I saw NIN, they opened for Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction blew them clear off the stage
- and trent threw a hissy fit about the sound and cut the set short...such a dick move for fansmarychain
- I saw them together, same tour, and it was the opposite. NIN made Jane's Addicition look like a drunk juvenile band.monospaced
- Part way through JA's performance, most people had given up and left because it was just shit noise.monospaced
- hmmmm. My show was half empty during NIN...didn't fill up till jane's.marychain
- NIN stole the show at mine, and should have had JA opening for them, not the other way around.monospaced
- i was LOLing during JAscarabin

NIN is cool but i prefer his material from The Downward Spiral, the last album of Godspeed is super boring and in an arena, its gonna painful to listen to. Explosions in the Sky is the only reason I would like to see that show but the price of the tickets will be mental.. So i will pass.

Godspeed you Black Emperor and Explosions in the Sky together tour would be way more awesome than either with NIN....
Only cool part about NIN is supposedly the new video is gonna be directed by David Lynch. Couldnt care less about the music though...

yawn....new track is blah

Fuck...went back and watched JA Hammerstein Ballroom performance I was lucky enough to be at back in 97....NIN can kinda suck a dick compared to Jane's Addiction back in the day. This was one of the all-time epic shows.
- saw JA open up for Iggy Pop in '88 before Nothing Shocking really made it big. Best show Ive ever seen in my life.

I saw NIN open for Manson in the 90's at Roy Wilkins Auditorium in Minnesota...It was insane. I also remember people lighting off fireworks inside, like bottle rockets n' shit...everybody was dressed in black with black makeup...and Manson was using a dildo on stage.
I was working the concert, showing people where to sit and basically watching the show and getting paid.- that was a great tourscarabin
- are you sure it wasnt Manson opening up for NIN? I saw that tour and was tripping my ass off! I think Jim Rose Side show Circus preformed between sets and scared the crap out of me.fooler

- you are probably correct. i can't remember.cbass99
- jim rose and the melvins opened up for NIN in 95 (i was there). and later that year, korn, manson, and danzig played at roy wilkins.jaylarson

I saw NIN tour with David Bowie in the '90s, and saw them again in 2000 with A Perfect Circle. On both occasions we ditched our assigned seats and rushed the general seating floor, jumping over the barrier past security, knowing they couldn't follow us into the pit. So fun, and NIN puts on a fucking hell of an A/V performance. Just wish Trent didn't destroy so many damn expensive guitars and keyboards on stage ... well, actually, that was cool too.
- So jealous of the tour with Bowie. Outside and Downward Spiral are two of my favorite all time albums.CyBrainX
- Up through Downward NIN was my favorite band. What he did with Bowie was incredible too.monospaced
- now that would have been amazing.eficks

godspeed in an arena would be awesome. considering how loud their standard shows are, i can't imagine what they'd do to a huge sound system like the barclays center

I smell a conspiracy... I think he wrote "Came Back Haunted" before the Wave Goodbye tour intending to come back with a solid single.
- pango0
ticket were CAD $94 and $120 after all those bs fee.
reasonable i guess.

Washed up band is washed up. The 90s are long over guys.
