I find this all pretty amusing.
I saw something on tv about the redesign of the water bottle. From the thinner caps to the tapering ergonomic design that allowed for strength while using less plastic. Of course that had nothing to do with actual product design in advertising/design terms. Its more of a material cost stand point. I could see a thinner paper with different corrugation for strength and maybe a different fold where the shoes slide out instead of opening on top for faster build and smaller area for cheaper shipping costs or whatever but it seems to all really depend on location and manufacturers and production numbers. And from talking of glitch pinterests it doesn't seem like it has anything to do with re-engineering a stronger box using less material.Its fun to see if this is a over the top self-hyped product that will just end in laughs or ooohs. Might be up there with that hells kitchen bitch meltdown.
