no money for the sound man?
honestly the trailer is nothing but success stories with no stakes - stakes is filmmkaing 101 class - truth be told people don't fund theories but "god knows what" - honestly probably noone knows, so bad audio in a film trying to raise money for a film might not matter.
As a filmmaker (who started his doc by doing a small crow-funding camping) i wish i believed that there is something more to your film than simply trying to cash in on the popularity of that funding platform.
- I'll spot you $20-utopian
- sometimes you've gotta fund yourself if you're making enough $$ohhhhhsnap

Why on earth does Zach Braff need crowd funding, he could have paid the entirety of that Kickstarter himself by filming 6 episodes of Scrubs and still have $100,000 left over.
Makes a joke of the concept that Kickstarter allows scams like that.
- He's a nice likeable easy to relate to kind of guyattentionspan

If you're in the mood to piss away money, there are still a few hours left to make my project come together too:

^ if you put in the 10% yourself, do you loose a % of that from kickstarter? Im assuming they make a cut of some kind.
- Kickstarter takes a % of all fundinganimatedgif
- anyone tried starting a kickstarter kickstarter company through kickstarter? ;)23kon
- yo dawg!moldero
- I wonder if putting up 10% and loosing that would be a wise investment, hmmmmmmmoldero
- and what if you don't do what you promise?moldero
- 10% not your own money but other sources before it listed. they only take a cut if it reaches its goal.uuuuuu

Will it be focused entirely on Kickstarter or will other services like Ingiegogo or any independently run crowd funding campaigns be discussed? Is it about the entire phenomena of crowdfunding? Social/historical context? Advantages and criticisms? Otherwise its a bit like making a doc on 'social media' then only considering success stories from facebook.
Also I noticed you would like to submit it to festivals but what are your ultimate goals for it? Do you want it on TV? Netflicks?

For 10K I can be exec producer... I think it'd be more tempting if I actually got to have a role as exec producer and not just the name...
If I donate 10K, I want a say in that movie!
