We're already planning on doing some fishing and camping for Memorial Day weekend while there. But thought maybe there might be some other places, activities worth checking out.

- Please, no more plaid out Seinfeld references. I feel like I've just been transported back to the 90s when Seinfeld was considered funny. He comes off as whiney more than funny. :)omg

If you're a Pixies fan, check out the Quarterdeck Restaurant and Bar. It's owned by Frank Black's brother, and supposedly displays a lot of Pixies memorabilia. Also read that the juke box is filled with Frank Black albums.

Cape Code is the first place I ever saw gay people. Seriously. I was just a kid - we were out in Provincetown and walked behind two guys, one had on cut off jean shorts, and the other had his hand down the back and I could see the tips of his fingers poking out the bottom edge of the cut off part.
Also went in a store and saw these for sale.

there's a drive in down there: www.wellfleetcinemas.com/
Nickerson State park has tons of biking trails and some really nice ponds to fish in and kayak. There's also good mountain biking down in Barnstable at a place called Trail of Tears, if you're into that kinda thing. Also the Cape Cod Beer brewery is down in Hyannis.

Sadly, the entire weekend is going to see rain. I don't know what to do now. I'm gonna have to cancel the trip. But I've already got a car for the weekend.

beachcomber is a decent place to catch a show, all sorts of washed up acts go through there... and it's right in the most amazing dunes:

http://www.edwardgoreyhouse.org/…lots of galleries in provincetown... ptown is worth a visit no matter what, just to walk around and take in the scene.

the usually have flea markets at the wellfleet drive-in on sundays, but it might not be season yet... and it'll probably get rained out anyway.

It's Baby Dyke weekend in Ptown, I would stay away.
Unless you're a young lesbian who likes drunkenly fighting with her gf in the streets. Then by all means go and enjoy.
