dconstrukt, I have received one response. Like I said, with a girl with a lot of common interests. And isn't fat/ugly (from what I can tell). We don't have a date till Jan when she gets back from break. Until then I've wasted a lot of time emailing back and forth 3 paragraph emails. I'm going to be upset if we meet and don't click at all. The only reason I got a response is because I am an outdoor person, so is she, and where we live there isn't anyone like that around. Mostly fake so cal girls.
Anyway, other than that I've received 0 responses from anyone else. I've dropped my standards, dropped them even further, sent super creative messages, overly sexual messages, sent messages to single elderly lonely moms, even racial slurs to elicit any response, and have received zilch back. It's so depressing that such boring, unoriginal, uninteresting women can pretty much rule the online dating world.
The funny/sad/ironic part is now I totally think going out in real life would be a lot easier to pull chicks.
- agree 100%BabySnakes
- there are a lot of fake profiles (bots) on dating sitespablo28

^ you're probably right. Online profiles are a terrible way to sum up a person. The most dishonest people are going to look like the best catch.
- Ianbolton0
it's tedious spending a few weeks getting to know someone, who you seem to get along with really well, go on a date and that click isn't there. But then, we learn a lot about ourselves through other people, it gave me hope that I actually find women a massive pain in the arse!
- fourth0
^well not only that but 99% of the girls I see are just straight up boring/worthless but want absolute perfection. 99% of the profiles are "hey I like to laugh, have a good time, hang out with friends, (other obvious generic shit)" followed by "please don't send me a generic message, or 'hey ur hot wanna fuck??'".
And I sit there for a couple of minutes. look at their pictures. Read the profile again looking for some type of creative spark that will generate something witty or creative or attractive. And after 10 minutes the only thing I can remotely come up with is 'hey your hot want to fuck??' and now I know why guys send these messages because what the fuck else do we have to work with?

Mary Kary Beckman Sues Match.com For $10M After Online Dater, Wade Ridley, Tried To Kill Her.
Beckman, 50, met 53-year-old Ridley in September 2010 through Match.com. The couple dated briefly, but Beckman ended the relationship in just eight days. Four months later, Beckman said Ridley had broken into her home and hid in her garage until she returned home. Court documents said Ridley "brutally stabbed [Beckman] 10 times with a knife about her head, face and upper body, until the overwhelming force he applied to the stabbing caused the knife to break.” Then he "stomped and kicked" Beckman in the head until she "stopped making the gurgling noise.”
Beckman was found by a neighbor shortly after the attack and was rushed to the hospital, ABC reported.
Ridley, who had no previous criminal record, was eventually arrested and told police he “wanted to kill” Beckman for breaking up with him. He also confessed to killing another woman named Ann Simenson, whom he also met on Match.com. An arrest report said Ridley wanted to kill both of the women because they had “jilted” him.

If a dating service is what you require, then you should be prepared to try a results-oriented pay service.

don't have a breakdown if she doesn't like you. not sure you sound tough enough for the dating game.

I met a few girls on match.com. Two of them lied just about everything, including their photos. And the other one that I met, I had to file a protective restraining order against the crazy bitch. Wacky ass bitches on Yahoo and Plenty of Fish as well. Stay away from the online dating sites, nothing but introverted, lying, deranged whorebags there!

Didn't work for me I got too caught up in the rejection of it. but its a good way to meet people certainly not cause for embarrassment. just a good way of widening the circle of potential partners. Also good cos you get to talk to people online before you meet them and work out some common ground. good luck.
