Just getting a feel. I have a potential job in Hollywood. And am looking at agencies in Manhattan and Venice too.
As long as it's cheaper than NY.

there's no correct answer to your question. there might be a general cost but nothing more then that.
also. depending of where you work. a higher cost but close by might be better. i wouldn't live in MB and work in Hollywood or Silverlake. Traffic would kill your soul.
- hollywood to santa monica is a soul killer too. lol.akrok

word of advise, look in areas to live by your work and take it from there, or you can easily spend 4 hours every day of your life just on the road. its not SF brotha. (i lived in both)

Venice minimum 1500

it depends. the areas you mentioned have really nice parts and shitty parts. single with parking, anywhere from 1250-1400 if you don't want to live in crap place.

if you're getting a place it's worth it

How much does a decent 1 BR cost in LA per month?
Craigslist seems all over the place. Safe area with parking, nothing fancy?
Maybe Venice, Silverlake? Hollywood? Manhattan Beach?
Gracias.
