Given that a great number of people here are industry professionals in their late twenties, thirties and forties, we forget what it was like to dick around in our early years, trying things out.. then putting them on a form of public display that we perhaps don't appreciate the reach of.
Kid's likely just some over-keen schmo that doesn't in any way appreciate what he's doing. No harm to be done - the moment a real client talks to him, they'll realise his limitations.

Plenty of us put "fake" work up on portfolios long ago but were probably smart enough to say it was spec work, and not produced work.
If I were a person that might hire this guy for a job, I'd stop dead in my tracks at so many things here, primarily the Google logo for some reason. It's a screen shot of the search screen with no info about it, organizing under a print category.
