I use a magazine with the glossy front page ripped off. Works a treat. Every week or two when the top page gets a bit grubby I rip it off and go onto the next.
- nice solid one with a square bindset

- Hahahaha. No, no. I'm trying to act like a professional over here. ;)nb
- Haha set, you gotta be joking!Hombre_Lobo

I think the microsoft blue light mice work on glass.... maybe it's called "Blue Track Technology", then you don't need a mousepad.

I had a plain old rubber bottomed one. Worked great. But now I just use an Apple Trackpad.

Glass-top desks are distracting - you'll just be looking at your wonky big toe all day and the collection of fluff and dust on the floor at the back of the desk.
And there's always the worry you'll trip and fall through it.
- or the worry that you won't see it and walk straight into it, always a worry that.set

I used to just use mouse on desk when I had a glass top. My mouse worked fine on transparent glass.
I don't see what's wrong with Greg using a magazine cover - Works a treat, fully 'customisable', recyclable, more portable than most mousepads and still comfortable. Lightweight too.
Magazine cover = the ultimate mousepad. Maybe a bit of blu-tac underneath to stabilize it.

Cutting mat is the rub. More space, smooth, doesn't fray, looks rad.
