Does any other network come close in terms of identity design?

I doubt it. Channel 4 is probably my all time favourite. Love the branding, love their sites, love their typeface...

dixonbax did a great job on the five.tv work before it was scrapped when bought out this year. C4 work rocks!

Channel 4 is just fantastic. I also liked the new-now-old Channel5 as well.
I also like Dave's identity, but their website is shitty.

There's a welsh station that had amazing idents a while back.
Magnetic chairs etc. Plus they also had a sound reactive announcer bit (when the person says whats on next). The identity would change and react to their voice.- S4/C - so probably part of channel 4!Centigrade

MTV is pretty nice, it has to be said. I love that walking sasquatch thing that changes colours, tiz beautiful.
Their site has the potential to be really nice but is verging on ugly, a shame.

Channel 4 is boss, even just a 30sec Film Four ad seems to have a lot of tlc put into the editing. E4 channel is the only let down really, feel like they could use a brand overhaul.
