40% of San Francisco residents plan to leave due to quality of life
- every city has it's issues... that being said get the fuck off that Ben Shapiro "news" site... FFS is that who you source for news?jonny_quest_lives
- https://preview.redd…jonny_quest_lives
- It's all over the news.
https://www.bizjourn…utopian - https://news.yahoo.c…utopian

- Posting a link to the Washington Examiner doesn't qualify as news.face_melter
- don't see it here... https://www.sfchroni…jonny_quest_lives
- Oh the intricacies of Polling data... so you seriously believe 40% of residents of a major US metropolitan city are ready to pack their bags?jonny_quest_lives
- the headline itself is laughable...jonny_quest_lives
- also possibly ditch the Washington Examiner from your bookmarks too https://www.politifa…jonny_quest_lives
- here's the more nuanced press release and I can't find any numbers or quotes that support the headline...jonny_quest_lives
- https://bit.ly/3hapJ…jonny_quest_lives
- but you know the SF Chamber of Commerce polling their voting membership I am sure as small to mid size business owners they are all a bit pissed about crime.jonny_quest_lives
- Lol 40% as ifnb
- they're all moving to a red states so they can begin their destruction all over again.hotroddy
- Oh come on. You guys should know by now Utopian is the Debbie downer of QBN / internettoemaas
- Communist propaganda?i_was
- leaving SF was one of the best things I have ever done, though 20+ years in SF was also pretty fucking dopeGuyFawkes
- lol, you read the Daily Wire? C'mon man.garbage
- utopian1
- Who's responsible for that Putopian?Hayoth
- PUtopian is literally a card carrying communist fascist and uploads a video about a guy warning of Communism coming to caHayoth
- “Literally a card carrying communist fascist” lolololol hayoth is a jokenb
- like communism, literal is a word he can write but actually doesn’t have an understanding of.monospaced
- sarahfailin0
- the city where dogs step in human poopsarahfailin
- when I lived in SF, I saw a homeless woman take a shit — broad daylight — at a bus stop, right in front of anyone who happened to be nearby, no fucks givenmonospaced
- ^where would you want her to do that that's not too unpleasant for you? cant believe she had the audacity to have basic human needs...dyspl
- half of all public toilets in the UK have closed in the last 10 years, mostly as result of cuts. Up to 90% in some places. While homelessness nearly doubledFax_Benson
- As a longtime SF resident, I say this is republican propaganda. Who documents poop? You're sure that's human, not dog shit? still a beautiful citynuggler
- @dyspl, calm down ... I'm just sharing a personal anecdote about one of many human feces incidents I've witnessed in San Franciscomonospaced
- yeah, there is a lot of human feces here. they have finally opened up a few more "mobile" bathrooms. but not enough to make it visibly less shitty.lvl_13
- also depends on what hood you are in obviously. places like the presidio are very clean-also obviously mostly rich people that live there...so yeah.lvl_13
- The designer over-delivered by using a brown color for the bars on the graphKrassy
- born and lived the latter majority of my life in SF, SF has to be the dirtiest nastiest place period. still awesome thoughmoldero
- Warm climate = bumsdrgs
- yeah, but actually not that warm.lvl_13
- Human feces incidents were a major issue when I left SF in 2008. To imagine they've more than doubled is scary. Tax dollars not at work.monospaced

"instead of organizing to do something about a problem let's pour resources into building a way to complain about something so somebody else takes care of it for us" ... the fact that problem is actual shit is peak san francisco
- pour resources? who is?monospaced
- the first step in solving any problem is complaining about itmonospaced

Median 1-bedroom rent $3700 = bums
- fuck, I was renting rooms out at $1k/mo 12 years ago when i first moved to MX, ended up short selling it, too much stress, i'd be raking in the cash now thoughmoldero
- I should have never bought that fucking housemoldero
- bye bye $150k deposit!!moldero
- anyone know anything about time travel?moldero
- I'd just go back in time and punch myself in the dick.moldero
- yo, M(odero)arty. hop in this dolerean ;D. I wish i would have bought a place 8 years ago the first time we moved here...but even then was way too expensive!!lvl_13

a friend of mine and his wife (40ish) have no kids and both have great jobs. they live in S.F. he bought a 1bd 1bth in a nice new building right next to Dolores Park or Mission or something.
7 years ago he paid $750k for it. He now rents that place out to a company and rents a place in the financial district that is 2bd 1bth.
who knows, that place he bought has probably doubled in value.
what a life man. I just cannot imagine spending that kind of money on a box.
- Living in SF makes you realize how much space you don't actually need. I visit friends and family living in these 3000 square foot places...lvl_13
- And think "what the fuck do you need all this space for? To fill it with more shit?" No thanks.lvl_13
- you are right. it's just the way some of us grew up though. i have two kids and they actually don't play "outside" like we used to.HijoDMaite
- it has at least tripled in value, if not quadruped or more ... that spot is insane and I'm pretty sure Zuckerberg is his neighbor nowmonospaced
- but i just feel like the place is too small for the $$. i know location, location and all but also noise and too much activity and rukkus..HijoDMaite
- look at this monstrosity: https://www.redfin.c…lvl_13
- and yeah, i hear you about growing up in it. we had a decent sized yard and i was out in it every day sun/rain/snow.lvl_13
- haha that looks like a hotel lobby wtf?HijoDMaite
- I don't know ... I kind of like that monstrosity. I used to walk by it almost everyday, it's neat to see what they finally did with it.atomholc
- it's cool that they did something with it, however, making it into condos isn't the best use imolvl_13

Bulldoze the tenderloin and I'm cool.

How many days were you there!?
- cannonball19780
The only reason people like Farolito is because it's near the bart and they are drunk. By sober standards it's horrible.
- lvl_130

- San Fran only gets single rainbows.Centigrade
- lolbjladams
- Yep, no double rainbows in SF.CygnusZero4
- That means it's going to rain btw. You know, golden showers brings may flowers. Or something like that.fyoucher1
- no talking. only dreams now.bulletfactory
