seems to me that google has ignored search in favor of just about everything the past few years.
Wave/Dark Fiber/Android/Maps/Docs/Books/AP... Browser/Chrome OS/Youtube/Picassa/Sketchup/Etc.maybe they ought to focus /more/ on search.

my biggest google worry is excess personalization leading to everyone seeing only what some algorithms isolate them into seeing... living in a bubble based on their previous clicks....

- not really.. that would be a valid concern if it was only based on the sites you visit. That's why they introduced +1. The more system learns about your likes/dislikes the more it will give results you are interested in and i think that's great.. isolating noise to only what's relevant to you.Boz
