what's the issue?
- ArmandoEstrada0
Since you asked ;) Its mostly CSS related but also how it works within the scope of WP.
I have 2 menus on some pages. I am able to create a sticky menu for the primary page when its on that page. On the pages with 2 menus, I would like the main menu to keep its sticky state as well as the 2nd Menu.
Example:
Menu 1:
Item 1
Item 2 - Sticky (Current Page)
Item 2Menu 2:
Item 1
Item 2
Item 3 - Sticky (Current Page)I am using custom permalinks, so the URL would be:
mysite.com/item2/item3/
I hope this make sense..... Any help would be appreciated.

When I was doing a bunch of Flash there were sites like kipura and flashkit and a bunch of other ones. There doesnt seem to be a go-to forum for WP.

sticky state? cookies?
maybe not a WP issue, but a state/stateless issue?
and/or a loop with IF statements(pseudo-code)
foreach(menu_item){
if($this_page==$menu_page){
show_bold_sticky
}else{
show_normal_item
}

or a kludge-o-matic bunch of PHP if or case statements could do URL parsing.... less elegant but certainly functional...
if you want to paste-bin your menu code,I'll check it out

ya right now i have it working for 1 menu per page with CSS. Ill post that in a bit, but maybe some sort of PHP function might work.

Doesn't help that most of the people who troll the WP forum are asshats.

Will you be adding and subtracting menu items in the future, or is this a pretty static site?
- bulletfactory0
So is the first menu the current category, and the second menu the current post?
- ArmandoEstrada0
Yes there might be pages added and taken away form main and sub. But there are only 2 pages that have sub menus. I am using the WP built in menu system.
Currently it looks like this:
mysite.com/item2/item3/
Where item2 is the main page form the first menu. item3 is the page form the sub menu. I just need both to remain sticky.
my current code:
Thanks

I see the CSS
gotta see some PHP menu code to get a better feeling...
- ArmandoEstrada0
I have no PHP code for the menu, I am using the built in menu system in WP. I am not a PHP guy, so If I can avoid trying to write some PHP that would be good.
- vaxorcist0
argh, I can see why you want to avoid that...
but I have to confess that modifying the PHP is how I'd do it...
