I put my apple keyboard above my 6 x 9 (they are same level)
works perfectly fine

But hardly ergonomic for long hauls.randommail - what do you mean? I've been using this setup for 5 years nowgenfour

i use my left hand for modifiers on the keyboard while using my right hand for my wcom/stylus. never had any problems.
also, the intuos 3 and 4 have shortcut modifier buttons on the side of the tablet you can use

some put the wacom off to the right where a mouse pad would be and then keep the keyboard directly in front.

Been using a Wacom tablet for years now, but have never really found an ergonomic way to use both the tablet and keyboard (needed for shortcuts).
I wish Wacom would build a tablet with an integrated keyboard!
