Reboot your system (just to get a default, loaded system). Then, Using VASM as root, stop the builtin VL firewall. Then try connecting to your wireless. See if that helps any. If so, then you may need to adjust your firewall configuration file to allow for additional network ranges (i.e. 10.x, 134.x).

It's not the wifi it'll be the phone line kicking the router off, same thing would happen if you were using a wired connection..
You need splitters- such confidence in splitters... you mean adsl filters? he has cable.kingsteven
- much more likely to be interference from a wireless handset.kingsteven

Are you actually just talking into your router? And pulling it out of the wall when you do? You sure it's a phone?
(expect these questions from tech support)

Sounds like interference - can you change your router settings to run on 5ghz? or maybe try switching channels...
Had to do this at our office. The local bus system had some sort of wifi and everytime the bus was outside the office we would lose connectivity. Changed channels and band - problem solved. Only issue is that iphones can run on 2.4ghz...
- yeah switch channels is a good start, i'll control the wifi settings too. 168.192.0.1 user: Admin password: godgeorgesIII

No I don't have those splitter jacks for the phone line. I'd love to figure this out without having to deal with my helpful Cable provider. They suck more than the filter function on here :)

When I talk on my landline phone, my wifi stops working. When I hang up, connectivity returns.
If it's any help, I have my cable/internet/phone all from one company.
Anyone deal with this also? How do I fix it?
