Mine has been up for about a year in Wisconsin. I used wire to attach it to an old nasty chainlink fence.

Staples etc will not work long term.Just like you might with normal fence boards, sandwich it between two rails rails. Install a bottom rail to to rest the roll on, then fasten cross rails to match the existing, but onto the side nearest us (by picture). Fasten the cross rails to the post, not the panels. The bamboo will be snuggly fixed and you don't have to worry about cracking or breaking them with staples. Its will just cost a little more for the extra 1x4 or 2x4 rails.

U NAILS. They are used for the green mesh on split rail. they would work.
