don't wait four months...
Persistence is ever a virtue - just be professional and not annoying :)
Did you call?
call before lunch the next day
"just stepping out to grab some lunch if you'd have time for a quick chat"
Perhaps try to bump into him in his local supermarket and act aloof.
I would wait. The dude tried once. He got busy. Shit happens, but he wants to talk because he offered for YOU to call him, and not the other way around.
Just let it sit. He will call you. Send him an email and say "Hey, I understand you busy running an entire fucking studio probably. When you get a second, I'm available to talk with you by phone at any time—just give me a heads-up so I can get some personal space."
I don't think I personally would do anything other than that. Calling too much is no good. Think about how much you hate it when someone keeps calling you and you've told them you're busy and will return their call.
For your purposes in this case, job hunting = dating.
Don't you live in America? Just shoot him.
Sounds like a girl problem
wait three days...
you don't want to sound over eager or desperate.
Nah. Call him in the morning.
CD from a company who is interested in employing me asks me to call him. I do......hes busy, says he will call me back. I give him my info and wait.....no call back. I email him and he says he will call me sometime today. Its 4 o'clock. should I call him or just wait.
I have had experience with very busy people who are hard to get a hold of in the past, but its always tricky.
so the question is, should I call him or not??
