Personally i think the Grafik Mag are a bunch of wankers.
They allowed me to subsribe to their mag for 12 months having paid upfront and then liquidated the magazine only to relaunch a month later without me reclaiming what was left of my subscription. Then they had the cheap to grant me a free download of the magazine that was never printed which was also available to anyone.
Old or new owners, i dont give a shit
I hope the mag turns out to be a massive fail you fuckin robbing bastards- so basicly, they screwed you? i would send mails till they refunddigdre

I loved how it smelt funny, SeptemberIndustry it is from now on I guess, gonna miss the monthly fav logo and typeface letter.
Hopefully another publisher grabs them up, would hate to se this Journal stop, hopefully the website will still be kept...

I have really slowed down on buying mags over the years, for design and most other things too, there so mush inspiration out there on the web it just seem an expense I can do with out really.

I never liked it that much, it did smell weird and always featured the usual suspects of trendy studios.
Then one day they put my work in it, I liked it a lot more after that, although still never bought it much.
Design magazine will die out eventually, they're all the same, creative review too. But good, well curated blogs with orginal editorial content like CR site are the future.Eye magazine is still worth printing though

I used to scan it in Borders at lunch time, before Borders went in to administration - everything turns to shit eventually. If I saw something I liked, i would take a note and then google - such a cheap cunt. Would be good if they made it digital, Grafik app yo!

It got a little too highbrow for my liking. Too much money for too little content.

£8... I'm not surprised. And it smelt funny.

Thing is Grafik itself didn't fold, its because the company that owns Grafik's publisher has liquidated their assets... so I'm hopeful the team will regroup.

I always liked it but grudged the cost.

Bring back Graphics International, I always thought Grafik was a load of style over content. Pure eye candy, fancy print processes and graphic design porn.

Shame. It did get pretty bad though. There were some really good issues a few years back.

Dead tree technology isn't dead. It just *really* needs to be made excellent for people to give a crap.
I never got into Grafik. When I see paragraphs set in Avant Garde, I'll kindly pass. Hurts the eyeballs.

dead tree technology = dead
still sucks - nothing quite like actually holding the pages, smelling the ink, the sound of a page turning, licking the photographs... oops.

not a shock, it was the same studios in every month and then when they lowered the paper quality it was the death knell really
