Always use these for booking hotels in London - seem to have the best prices. Stayed at the Thistle Kensington Gardens last weekend, not to bad. It was more down to price and location (close to Paddington)...

I booked it through LastMinute.com Top Secret Hotels (http://www.lastminute.com/site... ). Basically search in the area you would like... when you find one you like the sound off copy and past the description into google and it will usually bring up the actual hotel. If you are heppy then book it and save a tone.
