Well is K size a variable?
Making vector clouds in flash could prove to be extremely difficult. Where as creating clouds in photoshop and exporting them individually as PNGs isn't nearly as hard.
- flash is very good at png compression while maintaining quality. and any other image for that matter.ayport
- Alright ill do that then. Nice to see there is actually 1 person here that is not a dick and is helpful.CygnusZero4
- lol :) right click/properties the PNGs in the library to specifically set your compressionayport

png and resize each w and h randomly. have it alpha'd a lot.
you can also draw vector clouds, lighter on the top, darker on the bottom, blur the shit out or it, resize randomly, then cloud.cacheAsBimap = true.
- and alphainstrmntl
- and make about 4 different ones to duplicate and randomly resize. n alpha.instrmntl

Ignore tasty and instrmntl, they don't have a clue what they are talking about.
PNG clouds would be fucking huge filesize wise, look at this http://your-majesty.com/nestle/i… and look how big those cloud PNGs are in activity viewer FUCKING AMATEURISH.Get yourself some photos of clouds, desaturate and tweak levels to get the sky black and the clouds white. Then bring them into flash and use screen blend modes. That way you can JPEG compress the fuck out of them without storing a huge barely compressed alpha channel and they'll look just as good as PNGs
- unless there's a ton of them overlaid, then the blending mode could cause performance issues.fugged
