pretty awesome, isn't it? Not having to wake up, em, ever. Which is why I find myself drinking vodka and playing Call of Duty at 2:30 am on a Sunday night.
Stay Free homies.

ThePublics got it going on. And who am I to stop, point and yell Gay Troll? The dude has got a point. Kind off;
when you're at an Agency you dream of the freedom freelance offer. No ties, no boardrooms, reports or a boss to suck up to. Also, masturbation/food breaks comes at will. And more often than not in plural and/or simultaneously.
Then there's the freelancer who've yet to pull in work on his name alone, who dreams of the steady paycheck and a place not at the parents, all to supposedly be had at agencies.
Would you say it's like being married versus single life? Something that grows on you...
Ah, right ... "Dear blog..." rantings.
Your mother.
- yep I've freelanced 100% for 6 years - it can be a hard slog and v.solitary existence********

- ckentish, that's good. In time...develop a swingers style attitude to work (to further on that married/single saying). Or a married with benefits deal.Peter
- .. married with benefits deal.Peter
- I am married w/ benefits, so to speak. Steady retainer-type agreement w/ client I got on my own steam.gramme

Just for the record, I am a longterm freelancer, I don't live with my parents and rarely play video games. Just wanted to clear that up. I do however occasionally get drunk on a Sunday night.

I'm glad my experiment with 100% freelance is over. Now I just wish my freelance clients understand I can't turn out a 9-piece project in a week's notice.
- Dancer0
Why are you glad it's over?
