Just slightly off topic but I've just noticed Spiritualized's triple CD Deluxe edition reissue of Ladies & Gentlemen is £29 from Amazon but only £4.98 for the mp3s http://bit.ly/6vpLAe
Just saying.

But the kids single isn't even on sale yet. It's gonna step up tomorrow!
I'm buying 6 copies of RATM though regardless.
Nothing against Xfactor or Simon Cowell. I don't watch it but can see how the kids/mums would like it. Just sick of these gay little karaoke singers being a No1 certainty every year.

The is one of the most irrelevant things I have read all week. And it's only Tuesday.

"The Official Charts Company (OCC) said it is "a very exciting battle"."
I bet they think it's exciting. This is what it takes to sell music these days, engineering a little stunt like this.

Tom Morello must be broke after that last atrocity with that shitty hip-hop group.

Anyone been following this?
Killing In The Name Of by RATM currently beating X Factor single to the xmas number 1.
'Rock band Rage Against The Machine is ahead of X Factor winner Joe McElderry in the race for the Christmas number one, early sales figures suggest. A Facebook group aiming to get the band's 1992 hit Killing In The Name to the top of the festive chart has attracted more than 750,000 members.'
I know this is for the kids & anyone over 15 caring for Xmas no 1 is bullshit, but I'd still like to see Rage do it just to make the sprogs joining Cowell's machine every year think twice.
