Kiggen - what have been some of the hardest things you've run into while starting your business? major pitfalls you didn't see coming? what, if any, advice could you give to someone else looking to do the same thing at some point that you WISH you knew going into it?

great start-up, get rocking guys!
helmer / kiggen +1

Yeah, and most clients will be impressed regardless I'm sure. When you do develop it further though you should look into a good CMS - there's no need to spend an arm and a leg to get a more robust site when this particular wheel (portfolio site) has been built so many times.

"we provide design solutions" — is that the best you can come up with?
- granted, it supposed to be different quotes each timeKiggen

nice studio Kiggen! :D

let's just say that with our starting budget this is the most easy solution, we are not developers so...
I don't think we are the kind of people that never
and yes there will be more projects added the next couple of weeks.
about the menu, maybe we could change that, you are right about the tags, no need for that I guess.
thanks for the comments
- that never... change or update the design of the sitesmpl

Congrats man. The studio brand looks nice. Ultimately I'd suggest a horizontal grid-based layout of the work instead of the blog-style approach. Might as well take advantage of the screen size of your audience. Also agree the tags add nothing and if anything get in the way. Anyway, work looks nice, good luck with the venture.

low quality on the font menu. don't work well at that size.
- yes thats what im talking about, why you dont just use images instead of that ifr (?) crapspraycan

does nick even do anything creative? i don't think anyone has ever seen his work and didn't he move to amsterdamn just to fry what little brain cells he has left?

- pretty sure 'nick' goes to school
francoisfido, dives below meaningfrancoisfido - hasn't 'nick' been in school for the past 5 years? must be the remedial program.MarleyMarl

@fibonacci: I don't think it's really fair to show work that the team didn't do. Especially if there were other people NOT at the agency involved in said work.

good, i see some more work is up.
Can't wait to start internship there! LOL

Amazingly sparse portfolio, considering you have two designer's bodies of work to choose from.
Makes me think you two are recent graduates or don't have much experience.

nice work Bart!

Good stuff guys!
My only comments would be that the tag cloud at the bottom of the pages looks a bit unhappy. Same goes for the tags on the projects (a lot of them, I feel, are not necessary).Oh, and a few slightly larger images of the work would be nice.
Now go forth and art-not-direct!
- thanks, it's a bit rough I know.smpl
- and thanks for the constructive feedbacksmpl
