It's funny, cause I am following @SpecWatch, and @99designs, and the former is constantly posting contests that end with no winner, and the latter is posting "such and such just won $1,000 for a web design!"
Any way you look at it, 99 Designs is bad news... but the people who would put up money for that site are the same ones who'd not be willing to pay a fair price for design in the first place.
