Bitmap Font Question (?)

Is it possible to make a bitmap font out of full color Jpegs?
I have a project I am creating and I would really like to make it into a usable font.
Can anyone share some insight into this?
I have tries importing bitmaps into a font maker but they basically do a vectr autotrace? Is that as far as I can take this?

To my knowledge: No.
Most font software requires shape-hints from a vector format to render the art consistently. Since jpegs do not contain shape hints the best you can hope to do is important them and have them be auto-traced.Now i have seen some custom apps which let you attach jpegs to keystrokes - a colleague of mine did one in flash. But that's about all I can tell you about those. Good luck!

you need to seperate it as 3 fonts to do this, keep the same width and height
1, yellow dot
2, white dot
3, texture layer (you can have random texture, not just one)example
