Wordpress Template Q

Used a wordpress template for a friends company and I don't want to use the slider they are using in the header, but rather a static image with repeating background.
Here is the template:

Replace the slider with your image.

You should just be able to replace the content of the div "loopedSlider" in the index.php file in the theme folder with an image.

it'll probably be in the header.php or maybe a feature.php page in the theme editing area. it will also do doubt have a div wrapping it. the easiest option would be to delete the jquery / php guff but leave the wrapping div, then in the stylesheet just make the wrapping div a fixed height and make the background image the one you want.
that's what i'd do anyways.

seems like the point of that theme is that slider. probably too late now but you can go with a simpler theme.
jamble's right, just revise your #loopedSlider

hmm, all very good responses and suggestions.. now who is interested in a couple of designgive shirts to implement this change and a few other ticky tack changes as I just don't have the time at the moment? Anyone? :)
