Facebook connect, FUCK OFF
and "Digg this" buttons, they don't even make sense, its a nerd technology news site why would this even appear on it and you need hundreds in a few hours to get anywhere near the front page.

Facebook Connect is actually, finally, a great way to keep all logins/user authentications in one place. Many have tried to convince people so sign up to all kinds of solutions, but Facebook Connect works because everyone is already on Facebook, and most people are logged in at all times. I'll start using Facebook Connect on two of my sites as a login alternative very soon.

Digg hasn't been a tech news site for a couple of years. It's simply another version of the pic of the day thread and several submissions of the same pop news articles which then only get popular once one of 20 power digg users post the same thing.
