I'm traveling between India and Mexico in October. I'm decently nervous. If I got it here (in the US), I'd feel more confortable. With family, my house, my doctors. India and Mexico don't exactly strike me as world health resources. Not to mention travel wears down your immune system. So I am a bit worried. Hopefully everything will be ok.

you'd be surprised how well educated and prepared Mexico is for this sort of thing. if your so worried be a smart traveler and wear your mouth cover, wash your hands and start taking colloidal silver for immune support.

Will carry hand sanitizer. I'd be heading to central Mexico states, not major cities or places where a bunch of tourists are. Not a lot of big hospitals where I'm going. My main problem is I bite my nails. Will have to try to stop that for a while. Besides potential flu issues, I'm looking forward to the trips.

don't worry so much. i was there a few months ago and seriously feel safer there than i am here. remember they went thru the experience already. hand sanitizer and a few mouth covers (just in case) are a good idea. seriously take something to boost your immune system. echinacea and goldenseal is good. vitamin c, etc etc. and have a good time.
what part of central mexico? oh!! and stop the biting! chew on a pencil or something! lol

Assuming things get worked out, San Luis Potosi and Zacatecas. I'd feel better traveling as well during non-flu season. Oh well, I plan to have a blast regardless.

I take the train of the airport twice every day,
If someone is going to get it first its me,
nothing better than breathing recycled hair for 40 min

From raf/ zenmasterfo's link:
"I have filed criminal charges in Austria against Baxter and Avir Green Hills Biotechnology for producing and distributing contaminated bird flu vaccine material this winter, alleging that this was a deliberate act to cause a pandemic, and also to profit from that pandemic.
Avir and Baxter AG are headquartered inside the Vienna City limits, where I live, and so fall within the jurisdiction of the Vienna City Prosecutor.
In the paperwork I filed with the Vienna City Courthouse on Wednesday, April 8th, 2009, after consulting lawyers, I present evidence of intent to cause harm by Baxter and Avir, citing, among other things, the fact that Baxter uses Biosafety Level 3 regulations to prevent just such a contamination of ordinary flu with the bird flu virus.
Also, I suggest that there are reasonable grounds for believing that Baxter is part of a secret bioweapons programme and that there are plans to release weaponised bird flu on the world’s population soon.
Furthermore, I present evidence to support the notion that Baxter is a smaller entity operating within a bigger aggregate of entities that belong to an international organised crime group, which I maintain can be identified with the group known informally as “The Illuminati”."
...
C'mon guys...seriously??;)

Her resume suggests otherwise, but that does sound far fetched to say the least.

I'm just passing links on. It sure does sound far-fetched, but probably not as far as "one sunny morning two commercial airliners will approach WTC towers and each will hit one as a part of a premeditated attack" does.

She is 10% to her goal of "raising $75,000" in 30 days.

22 million americans
have been sickened by the swine flu according to CDC:
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20091…Where are they getting those numbers from? that means 1 in 16 or so have been infected?
In canada aprox. 30,000 cases making it 1 in 1000 which seems to be inline with the global average.
In europe there have been 300 confirmed deaths compared to 4000 claimed by the US.
- estimated #s... 30,000 in CAN is just confirmed (hospital) cases. most flus are now H1N1.inkpink

more people have died of the normal seasonal flu this year than from the swine flu. WTF?
Its starting to feel like a way to sell medicine.
