i think the problem you are having, as others pointed out, is that you chose to obvious a solution to represent the name visuaal. obvious solutions are rarely creative ways to solve problems. start brainstorming other objects/ideas that represent the idea of visual, sight, seeing, insight, etc... and you will come away with a stronger idea.

I dunno, if they eye was a spot varnish on black (or a different color?) instead of 4cp it could be a cool element. Granted I don't believe you will be able to reproduce a photo of the eye with the kind of detail you found there on a google search without some pretty fancy equipment.
Ditto on not feeling like the eyeball is all that creative of an idea though.
