why does everyone put their printed stuff on woodgrain?
ever since i saw WeWorkForThem do it everyone has done it...
put it on.... grass or something

im talking about photographing print work leaning on a wooden surface with some shadow and a spotlight

It's like tattoos.
They do it to look individual, just like everyone else.

Wood is easy, it's natural and can be subtle or have a strong grain and stand out. Grass is a pain, living in the city you've got to find some then a nice sunny non windy day to shoot. Not so easy in London.
But yeah wood is completely overdone.
