here is my new site:
It's still very much a work in progress, so any criticisms, suggestions etc would be very helpful. Right now it's fit for long form blogging and showcasing past work, but I want to shift it a bit so I can integrate more daily media.

Yes, I think it needs more colour and action - going to redraw the header and throw in some more visual elements. I also think I need to work a video player into the equation somehow.

That banner is meant is the feature banner - it changes with every new feature so it won't always be cum-splattered.
