Via twitter from himself:
"Stumbled across a personal fave I haven't heard for a while.
http://blip.fm/trent_reznor "- far & away one of my all time favourite nails tracks. i remember buying the TDTWWA single & listening to this track over & over. must have been 1998/9. ah, good times.caspar_v

for emukid (i hate to bust a dream but reality needs to be a friend of yours):
"Overdosing on heroin was a wake-up call to Reznor, who now could not deny his problems. Worse news came in 2001, almost a year after the Fragility tour ended. While working on a live CD and DVD chronicling the US leg of the tour, a studio technician Reznor befriended was shot and killed in a gang-related crime. Seeing that his addictions had contributed to gang activity, Reznor was determined to get his problems under control.
On July 11, 2001, Reznor checked into a New Orleans rehabilitation center and endured a cold-turkey withdrawal experience that makes him shudder to this day. Upon leaving the facility, Reznor was more determined than ever to stay clean and sober. He finished the live set, titled And All That Could Have Been, and began to focus on other projects. Among his projects were Tapeworm, a collaboration with Tool/A Perfect Circle singer Maynard James Keenan, and producing former Rage Against The Machine frontman Zack de la Rocha's solo album.."

It's become a common error in articles about Reznor to report that he was a heroin user -- maybe it's his lyrics about jabbing needles -- but he hasn't asked for corrections. "That's kind of a sad conversation to have; 'I'm not a junkie, I'm a coke head'. . . . "

tomato vs. tomato

With drug junk out of the way....
I think he is just starting on his overall vision for music. He has definitely been laying the framework on which the new industry will run on. It will be interesting to watch him and see what he unleashes on the dinosaurs.

it's painful watching kevin rose speak
- morilla0
I would be a little intimidated interviewing him. Same goes for Maynard.

Its painful seeing how quickly QBN threads deteriorate, not oven past teh first page. Reznor touches on some interesting and relevant topics and it becomes an argument on what drug he was addicted to and a few youtube vids.
*hangs head- I tried bringing it back around. Oh well.morilla
