Sold out a long time ago. Not surprised.

Interesting. Apparently a bunch of "Canadian music types" reworked one of the songs from this album. Sounds pretty good. Not as well (heavily) produced as the Timbaland version, but closer to the spirit of what everyone seems to have expected from Cornell
Ballbermouth had the article and the two versions to contrast
http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com…- *Blabbermouth, though, reading some of the comments in other articles, Ballbermouth sounds more appropriatelocustsloth

He's old now, he's doing oldie things. mature radio friendly corporate music. he will continue to make money a couple more years. he's a total sellout. i will burn my Soundgarden album for sure. its finished. no more.

“You know that feeling you get when somebody embarrasses themselves so badly YOU feel uncomfortable? Heard Chris Cornell’s record? Jesus,”
-Trent Reznor (Via Twitter)
lolz. I've been a big fan of trent and Chris since the temple of the dawg days...
but...
I don't think Trent should say shit like that (if he actually did). The shit he was doing before NIN was embarrassing and degrading. He wore 80's blazers and even danced back then. That's pretty lame in my book.
- I'm sure we all did some embarrassing things 20+ years ago!fooler2

- It had promise, but it was too samey-samey, front to back speaking.TheBlueOne

Maybe he should do a project with Zack de la Rocha. That'd be spectacular.

I'm amazed. There is a musician being criticized and no one has been called a hater yet.

he should get together with joaquin pheonix and lil' jon.
OOOOkaaaaay!!!

While i still stand by my original comment that the first single (Scream) was good, i listened to some of the other stuff and find myself eating my words. "Scream" still at least has a toe in the darker side of what i like about his music, and there are one or two other songs that are acceptable, but it seems like they traveled too far into the pop-hip hop genre for it to be listenable to me.
But i will also stand by my original hope that this is something that he's getting out of his system or whatever, and that in the long run he'll come back to doing what most of us here want to hear from him- at least we can all save money by not buying this albumlocustsloth

The mere fact that the lead singer from Soundgarden is being compared to Timberlake is pure comedy.
- In what way? I think they're both great singers in their respective genres...TheBlueOne

listen to the track 'Time'. is it just me or does he sound like an edgy phil collins?
