I have a spear gun... still waiting for a thriller movie to showcase death by spear gun... better yet near death by spear gun...
other than that I want to eat duck but don't think I would keep my guns at home... plenty of friends with legit barns and whatnot.
I moved from the Keys to northern Michigan and life is different up here... it makes sense to hunt for game. </end>

I have a glock 19 but don't really keep it loaded at home with any intention of defending myself with it. If you really need a weapon to defend yourself a shot gun is probably your best bet.
If someone comes in and finds that pointed at them you might not even have to pull the trigger as anyone would proceed to shit all over themselves.

I am starting this one, I am purchasing a bersa 380 and a cx4 when I can find the right price. I have also started a small garden for some fruits and veggies.

- definitely. you don't have to be as perfectly targeted and the odds of the rounds going through doors/walls are slimmer.sputnik2
